ABOUT
My name is Denise Rush aka: DeeNeeCee; Niecey; and sometimes just Niece. Throughout my life I have been fortunate to be able to express my creativity. I hope you enjoy my contemporary abstract expression.
I am currently exploring colors, textures, transparency, and opacity through various mediums, such as: resin, acrylic paint, and acrylic & alcohol ink. My art process requires a collaboration of my artistic skill and the unpredictable nature of the moving curing resin, “I love seeing the colors layer and intermix, after I have intentionally poured and swirled the colors on my canvas.” My work shows strong gestural, flowing movement, and mingling layers often interspersed with iridescent touches.
